A famous Russian commander and ally of Kadyrov was poisoned
An assassination attempt was made on the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, Apta Alaudinov.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov announced this on his Telegram channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Friends, our dear BROTHER, Hero of Russia, assistant to the Head of the Chechen Republic, commander of the AKHMAT special forces and deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps Apty Alaudinov was poisoned several days ago. Looking ahead, I’ll reassure you: everything is fine with him now, nothing threatens his life and health,” Kadyrov said.
He clarified that on February 8, Alaudinov’s adjutant received an envelope with a message for the general.
“It turned out that the letter was saturated with a poisonous substance. Apty Aronovich realized this from the pungent specific smell and took action in time: he treated his hands and washed the nasal cavity. The general’s adjutants, who were in contact with the envelope, did the same.
The poisoned were admitted to the medical battalion, where, thanks to the qualified and competent actions of the chief and two medical soldiers, one of whom turned out to be a professional toxicologist, they managed to avoid serious consequences,” the head of Chechnya noted.
Currently, Alaudinov and both adjutants are in a Moscow clinic and are recovering.
“Doctors carry out all the necessary procedures. Specialists took a sample of biological materials to analyze and identify the toxic substance. At the same time, an investigation into the assassination attempt and identification of those involved is underway. The results are already there.
I wish Apta Aronovich and his comrades a speedy recovery and return to duty! I especially thank the commander (call sign “Chikala”) and the doctors of the medical battalion, who promptly provided professional assistance to the poisoned officers and neutralized the toxin,” Kadyrov concluded.
Earlier, Alaudinov announced an offensive “along the entire front line.”
