Donetsk, February 22 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Ukrainian security forces and militias must complete the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line between February 22 and March 7.

This was stated by Deputy Corps Commander of the Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk Republic Eduard Basurin.
“The withdrawal plan was signed by the parties; in accordance with it, the withdrawal of this equipment should be completed by March 7,” he said.
According to him, OSCE observers will monitor the parties' implementation of the plan for the withdrawal of heavy weapons. “They refused to record the withdrawal process itself; they will go to those areas where, in accordance with the agreements, there should not be heavy equipment, and they will check whether it is there or not,” he claims.
In turn, Kiev confirmed that the withdrawal of weapons should begin today.
“Starting today, it is planned to begin the process of withdrawal of heavy weapons, in accordance with the control plan for the coordination and implementation of measures to implement the Minsk agreements. This plan was agreed upon with the leadership of the so-called DPR and LPR,” said ATO speaker Andrei Lysenko.
The militia and ATO forces must withdraw their heavy equipment by March 7.
