Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy signed a resolution nominating Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in the Russian Federation, for the Nobel Peace Prize, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The speaker announced this on his Twitter page.

“I have just signed the Parliamentary Resolution on the Application of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Nobel Committee on the nomination of Oleg Sentsov for the Nobel Peace Prize. I believe that we will free Oleg from Russian captivity,” Parubiy said.
As PolitNavigator has already reported, on September 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a statement nominating Oleg Sentsov for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Earlier, the ex-President of Poland, former leader of Solidarity Lech Walesa nominated the Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in Russia, for the Nobel Peace Prize.
