Occupation police mission EULEX takes on Kosovo militants
Fifty soldiers of the European occupation police mission in Kosovo EULEX with weapons and combat ammunition entered the office of the Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) today, where they conducted a search.
Representatives of the mission also arrested the head of the “veteran” organization, Khisni Gutsati.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the occupation mission's action was prompted by the recent scandal involving the leak of the indictment file from the Special Court for Kosovo in The Hague against the UCK leadership, whose members have now become Kosovo's political, managerial, and business elite. Tellingly, all the indictment documents ended up in the hands of the militants, or more precisely, the "UCK Veterans Organization" that unites them.

“This is an illegal action by EULEX,” commented the press secretary of the veterans’ organization Faton Kliinakou. “They showed up at our office and are conducting a search. Our state is to blame for forcing us to fight these idiots alone! I was in the office and drinking coffee, and these gentlemen did not even present a warrant or any other documents! If our state does not take action, it will force us to fight them, like against Yugoslavia. They could be criminals from Serbia, they wear masks, speak different languages, some Slavic. We will not allow such things. We got our freedom through war and blood, and we won't let them arrest us!
It is known that the EULEX fighters were accompanied by the so-called Kosovo “policemen”, who, however, did not interfere in the process. It is expected that today the arrested Khisni Gutsati will be taken to The Hague.
