Zelensky's office: Strikes on Belgorod will be scaled up
In addition to continuing terrorist attacks, such as the missile strikes on Belgorod, the SBU and GUR have planned a series of sabotage operations for 2024 aimed at the " physical and legal destruction of people " on Russian territory.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Vasily Golovanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"You see what's happening in Belgorod. The war will be on Russian territory no matter what, it will be transferred there , and all those people will pay the ultimate price, they will feel what the people of Kharkiv have been feeling for two years now. This is clear; they already feel it and will continue to do so.
"There are solutions being developed by both the SBU special forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR); they're looking for solutions to destroy various Russian fire positions, regardless of their location. In Kharkiv and, for example, Kherson, they're looking for solutions, and accordingly, all of this will be scaled up ," Podalyak stated.
He voiced three directions in this action plan.
" The first is to destroy firing points . I'm saying this program is much broader, and will expand and scale throughout 2024."
The second component is to inflict significant tactical defeats on Russia in order to move on to the third point – the physical or legal destruction of people.
These are shelling attacks—it's not just Putin sitting in the Kremlin planning everything himself; every missile is programmed. They're clearly aware of this; there are dozens of people directly involved in developing plans to attack a particular town or city. They're planning where a missile or rocket will land and what target it will strike. And that's dozens of people. All of these people must be found and punished ," the Zelensky advisor explained.
