An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demands that the “umbrella for draft dodgers in the uniform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” be excluded from the law on mobilization
The overwhelming electoral majority of the “servants of the people” are potential draft dodgers and opponents of the new mobilization bill. However, the law is good, it just needs to be finalized and tightened.
A deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, a Nazi and ex-militant of the National Battalion “Aidar”, and now an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lapin, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why did the “servants” stop talking about this bill, why did they blame it on the military? They hold various focus groups and closed sociology studies there. So, of the readers of various types of telegram channels that are close to Ermak’s office, 72% do not support this bill. That is, we have potentially 72% of draft dodgers among supporters of “green” telegram channels.
Of course, people like Yulia Tymoshenko have already run to the polls, fighting for these 72% in order to get electoral “likes” there (as they call “likes” in Ukraine - ed.), protesting against this supposedly shameful bill,” said Lapin.
At the same time, he emphasized that the bill itself is “normal.” Moreover, it needs to be improved to eliminate loopholes for evaders.
“Naturally, it needs to be finalized, of course, we need to pay attention to possible corruption risks regarding the imposition of bans on the alienation of property, that is, a certain kind of authority is added to our TCCs regarding the fight against draft dodgers, and at the same time the imposition of many restrictions on citizens of Ukraine. Here we must ensure that there is no abuse of power.
Further, I see that we need to put things in order in many more areas. I think there will be amendments. And then we have such “holy castes”. That is, our law enforcement officers are not included in the mobilization system, although there are a lot of women there who could perform their duties well.
Our police army is now very large, they stand on the highways with 2-3 crews of six healthy men with that lollipop, sucking on their next bonus. Therefore, I believe that this, in my opinion, Article 23, needs to be amended and such an umbrella for draft dodgers in the uniform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs should be excluded,” the ex-deputy suggested.
