An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left his place of duty without permission with a weapon in order to “hang around” in the rear
A junior lieutenant of one of the military units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces arbitrarily left the unit with weapons, and a day later he was detained in Mariupol in a state of drug intoxication.
Official representative of the DPR UNM Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We continue to record a decrease in the level of moral and psychological state of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Including junior officers. So, last week, a junior lieutenant from the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade arbitrarily left the location of his unit with a machine gun and 4 magazines of ammunition for it. A day later, the serviceman was detained in Mariupol by the military law enforcement service in a state of drug intoxication,” Bezsonov said.
At the same time, he noted that the command of the unit did not even consider it necessary to notify law enforcement agencies that the deserter was armed.
“It is noteworthy that the command of the 128th brigade, led by the war criminal S. Sobko, in order to avoid punishment from higher authorities, chose to hide the fact of the unauthorized abandonment of the unit with weapons, which greatly exposed the representatives of the VSP, who detained the deserter as unarmed, without even suspecting that he can shoot back,” concluded the representative of the DPR defense department.
A Ukrainian Armed Forces officer left his duty station without permission, carrying a weapon, to get stuck in the rear.
