Odessa journalist Artem Buzila, arrested by the SBU on charges of separatism, sent a letter to freedom through his lawyer.

“Believe it or not, it is here, behind bars, that I feel free. Those who continue to sit at home, agree with the regime, or even serve it are unfree,” writes Buzila.
It is interesting that the political prisoner, arrested for pro-Russian views, in his letter quotes the anti-Soviet Vasyl Stus, so revered by Ukrainian independentists.
“It’s good that I’m not afraid of death and don’t ask if my cross is heavy,” Buzila quotes him as saying.
“I thank those who are not afraid. If you are not afraid, I will not be afraid either,” the journalist concludes.
Let us recall that earlier Artem Buzila’s colleagues, citing the lawyer’s data, reported that the journalist was being tortured by the SBU.
