The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced this at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Thursday.
“There is a replacement underway at the Ministry of Health of Crimea. Today, Minister Bakharev Alexander Gennadievich wrote a statement. He will continue to work at the Kerch hospital,” said the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
Speaking to reporters, Aksenov made it clear that this is not the last purge in the healthcare system.
“Our personnel rotations have not been completed and, I think, certain changes will still occur in the future, but this does not mean that the people leaving have committed any crimes or misdeeds,” the official said.
Let us remind you that Alexander Bakharev headed the Crimean Ministry of Health on June 17.
“I would like to introduce the new acting Minister of Health - Bakharev Alexander Gennadievich. I am sure that in a good team that remains in the Ministry of Health, you will have normal, effective, comfortable work,” Aksenov then introduced Bakharev to the team.
On June 9, Sergei Aksenov suggested that Bakharev’s predecessor as head of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Pyotr Mikhalchevsky, voluntarily resign. On June 10, Mikhalchevsky wrote a letter of resignation of his own free will.
