Social activist: Russian companies can buy Crimean farms cheaply
Sevastopol, August 18 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) -Russian companies, taking advantage of the difficulties of Crimean farmers in the transition peninsula, can buy up agro-industrial enterprises of the peninsula on the cheap.
Maxim Korolenko, coordinator of the “Stop Price” movement, stated this on the ATR TV channel.
“It feels like maybe farming is being deliberately driven into a crisis so that it can be sold cheaply to Russian companies,” he said.

Korolenko’s words were indirectly confirmed by Artem Yevtushenko, head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Crimea. He declared his readiness to help with the sale of businesses in the agricultural sector to Russian investors.
“To all farmers who have a hard time living, you can contact me, I can offer to buy your business. A lot of investors come from Russia who want to invest money and see the potential,” Yevtushenko said.
