Exchange of housing in Crimea for an apartment in Kyiv - how Crimean migrants are being “thrown away” in Ukraine
Crimeans who fled to Kyiv came up with an original method of “scamming” for their fellow migrants.

Thus, according to the publication, a certain public organization “Crimean Diaspora” offers Crimeans who want to move to Kyiv a unique service - to exchange housing on the peninsula for an unfinished apartment in the Ukrainian capital.
“Interested persons submit a package of documents for the property available in the republic, after which social activists, completely free of charge, begin to look for an investor who is ready to join this program. Moreover, the “investor” is always the same and always with the same offer: it is proposed to exchange the object in Crimea for an unfinished one “at the final stage of construction” in Kyiv,” the publication notes.
At the same time, as a journalistic investigation showed, the developer company is registered in the Cypriot offshore, and builds its facilities without any documentation and with obvious violations.
Thus, one of the unfinished buildings was erected just a couple of meters from the school, which violates architectural standards. In another case, the object is on the list of unauthorized construction sites of the city administration.
And finally, Crimeans are offered to exchange their housing for an apartment in an unfinished building located in a remote area of Kyiv, just a hundred meters from the operating reactor of the Institute of Nuclear Research.
“The main essence of the scam is that ownership of Crimean real estate immediately passes to the “investor,” while a certificate of ownership of square meters in unfinished buildings is not immediately issued - it can only be obtained after the house is put into operation,” - the author of the article adds.
