Nuland did not deign to inform Zelensky about the negotiations in Moscow
Moscow is negotiating Ukraine's fate directly with Washington because the Kyiv leadership is completely under American control.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Lavrov said that we had resumed the dialogue with Nuland, and in principle we were initially not against America being present in the Minsk negotiations and the Normandy format, but Ukraine is not needed for this. This is what Lavrov said, that since Zelensky is under the full control of this same Nuland, why meet with Zelensky? We will resolve the issue of Ukraine with Nuland,” the expert noted.
"Note what Zelenskyy said yesterday in an interview with IС TV : 'Nuland discussed something in Moscow, but I don't know what yet.' Note that neither the American ambassador nor any other American official even told him what the Moscow talks were about. Nuland didn't even call anyone at the Foreign Ministry or Zelenskyy to tell them what she and Lavrov had decided," Kornilov said.
As a reminder, Moscow previously stated that Ukraine is becoming increasingly less important to the United States in Washington's global strategy and its standoff with China. This is evidenced by the three-day visit of US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who will then travel to Beirut instead of Kyiv.
Nuland did not deign to inform Zelensky about the Moscow talks.
