A new referendum in Crimea will only strengthen its Russian status – Bortnik
Crimeans for the most part are disloyal to Ukraine, and if another referendum on the ownership of Crimea was held in Crimea, Ukraine would definitely lose it.
This was stated by the director of UIAMP, Ruslan Bortnik, on the air of the NASH TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The budget of Crimea last year was 10 times larger than in 2013. The problem is not Russian troops in Crimea. The problem is that we have a disloyal population there, 2 million Crimeans for the most part are disloyal to Ukraine.
They do not consider Ukraine their home. They consider Ukraine an enemy. Therefore, the idea of a referendum makes no sense - it will simply confirm the Russian status of Crimea. We will definitely lose this referendum,” summed up Ruslan Bortnik.
