New hot spot: Ukraine began shelling the southern borders of the DPR from tanks and heavy artillery
The DPR Ministry of Defense published footage of the battle on the southern borders of the republic, which took place on the night of January 8-9. Soldiers in positions that were under fire from the Ukrainian side explained that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to “constantly probe” the DPR’s defenses and identify firing points.
The aggravation in this sector of the front began in the new year. The Ukrainian side has assembled a large number of armored vehicles, some of which are already participating in the battles. The houses of civilians are also affected by heavy artillery shelling.
