Odessa, May 25 (Navigator, Svetlana Filippova) – Low voter turnout was recorded in the Ukrainian presidential elections in Odessa due to the fact that these elections are “false”.

This position was expressed in a comment to Navigator by Odessa City Deputy Grigory Kvasnyuk.
“I myself once called on Odessa residents not to vote for any of the presidential candidates, since these are fake elections. Many did not go to vote for the head of Ukraine, which means they admitted that this time the presidential elections were fake,” noted Grigory Kvasnyuk.
At the same time, the deputy of the Odessa City Council clarified that he called on city residents to go to the elections of the mayor.
“I acted on the principle: go here, don’t go there,” Kvasnyuk assured.
The politician emphasized that under the current conditions, the ongoing presidential elections do not represent the election of the true head of state.
“Ukraine is in a state of war. There is no point in talking about the objectivity of voting in such conditions. The President of Ukraine cannot be elected in such conditions,” says Grigory Kvasnyuk.
The deputy of the Odessa City Council adds that there is not a single state in the world that would hold presidential elections while the civilian population of the country is being burned and killed.
Grigory Kvasnyuk recalled that on May 2, dozens of innocent people were burned in the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, and holding presidential elections on such a tragedy is, at a minimum, “ugly.”
