Political scientist Alexei Mukhin stated this on the YouTube channel "Political Russia," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“The signs that we are now observing indicate that Ukraine is being drawn into certain forms of interaction with NATO, where it will be completely immobilized, where it will provide its soldiers for the most severe military conflicts, as it is already doing. Ukraine and Georgia have been doing this for a long time. Coffins are already flowing in full flow on the territory of these states. But at the same time, the carrot of membership will always be in front of Ukraine. She is hanging and she will continue to hang in front of her for the foreseeable future,” said Mukhin.
What surprises him most in this situation is the short-sighted policy of the Ukrainian authorities.
“Honestly, it is surprising that Ukrainian politicians, if they are truly patriots, if they are truly committed to creating a new Ukrainian statehood and improving it, that they simply do not see this, that they are being used.
