Nigerian pirates hijacked a ship with a Ukrainian on board
Pirates seized the Pomerania Sky ship off the coast of Nigeria on Saturday, on board which, according to preliminary data, there may be eight Poles and a Ukrainian, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is reported that the seizure of a ship flying the Liberian flag occurred at four o'clock in the morning on October 27, 50 nautical miles off the coast of Nigeria. The pirates arrived in two motorboats and hijacked the ship. However, the ship's crew managed to send an SOS signal. According to preliminary information, none of the crew was injured during the hijacking of the ship.
The Polish Foreign Ministry reported that it is aware of the seizure of the Pomerania Sky ship and is checking information about the presence of Poles on board the ship. A representative of the company that owns Pomerania Sky noted that steps are being taken to free the ship's crew.
