More than half of the respondents (65%) expressed confidence that the Debaltseve cauldron will slam shut.

17% of readers believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will suffer losses, but will still be able to escape from encirclement. Another 11% believe that peace negotiations will prevent the defeat of the army.

And only 7% - that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not only break through the encirclement, but also take Gorlovka, controlled by the militia, into the “cauldron”.

The survey was conducted from January 29 to February 8, 2015. 10546 readers took part in it.
