Returning from a recent trip to Israel, the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, continued the series of high-profile statements begun in the Middle East.

Let us remember that at the Western Wall in Jerusalem he said that he made a wish that the Republika Srpska would gain independence. Upon his return, the politician again emphasized that the Serbian entity must secede from BiH.

“It is very difficult for me to explain the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is a failed country and there is no way it will remain like this,” he said.

Dodik also emphasized that he ran for president of Republika Srpska in the general elections to prove to foreigners, primarily Europeans, who imposed sanctions against him, that they were wrong and that he was confident of his own victory.

“They are trying to cause as much harm as possible to the Serbs,” Dodik said on Serbian Radio and Television.

He recalled how foreigners disarmed Republika Srpska and today it does not have a single arms factory, unlike the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a significant exporter of ammunition.

The presidential candidate noted that he has the support of the people in his policies. He added that he believes in the success of the Republika Srpska, which will become independent and, together with Serbia, will be able to fulfill the dream of the inhabitants of this region.

The politician also criticized EU policies. The Serbian representative recalled that in Bosnia and Herzegovina there is a “fake” High Representative Christian Schmidt, whose activities are no longer regulated by the UN Security Council (his candidacy was not approved by the UN Security Council - ed.).

“However, this German continues to interfere in the internal affairs of the state and destabilizes it, playing on ethnic contradictions,” says Dodik.

As for Ukraine, Dodik believes that there is collateral damage, and the reason for current events is that many politicians in the West have lost their orientation and created a crisis for themselves.

According to him, if we talk about Russia, it will never abandon its friends, while Moscow will remain a global player.
