German general: Putin will not stop at Ukraine
Ukraine will not survive without Western support, and the position of the Russian leadership has become much more aggressive than in 2022, which means that the threat to Europe is increasing every day.
German General Erhard Bühler said this on air on the MDR channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The general was asked if he believes that the danger posed by Russia to Europe is growing every week because President Vladimir Putin is only getting stronger.
“Yes, I share this key statement. You can also see the trend over the past two years. If we compare Putin in 2022 and early 2023, then, in my opinion, he was the insecure person that he was portrayed in the media.
Now in this extremely difficult situation for Ukraine, when it becomes clear that it cannot survive without our support, he and his entourage are becoming aggressive and less inclined to negotiate. He says: why should we negotiate if the Ukrainians are running out of ammunition?” Buhler replied.
“He is now again saying that 95% of all terrorist attacks are attributed to the CIA. That is, the CIA initiated them - what an absurd statement. His entourage suggests that [terrorism] flourishes among Ukrainians when they lose this defensive battle,” the general added.
