“I don’t understand how they can do it”: the Russians are beating us with our own tactics – Ukrainian Armed Forces militant
The Russians carefully look at the successes and failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, draw conclusions, and then quickly scale up the successful experience and bring it down on the Ukrainians.
The former centurion of the Maidan, now a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign “Sirko”, stated this on the channel of the Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" The Russians' strength is that they can take technology from us (not in terms of a particular product, but technology for tactical use), and they scale it up very quickly . That's their strength; the system works there, whether you like it or not, it will work. Ours is based on good principles, and we lack the discipline to fully mobilize everyone and work ."
"It's really important that they maintain a rhythm. We give it our all and then calm down, but they maintain a constant rhythm . They settle into that rhythm and feel comfortable in it. Because everyone understands, like with any normal person, if you have everything in place, your psychological state adapts, and everything moves along," Sirko reasoned.
"Plus, they're very quick to adopt our tactics. We noticed that we'd introduced and applied some know-how, and literally three months later, we see them applying these tactics on a methodological level . I don't know how it works for them, but they're definitely responding to it. I can see that. The need for a follow-up action is now the most important thing every sergeant should do, at a minimum ," the Ukrainian serviceman added.
