The scandal with the blocking of checkpoints on the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers could result in serious political problems.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ogryzko, now the leadership of the two countries must solve this problem among themselves.
“We must prevent a new scandal between Ukraine and Poland from exploding. Now more than ever, it is necessary at the level of state leadership, although there is not yet a formed government in Poland, because this is a big disadvantage.
We cannot force these things now, but now it is possible at the level of the Ministry of Transport, at the government level, not prime ministers, but, say, even deputy ministers of transport, to sit down and talk about what needs to be done so that, God forbid, we , did not start fighting with the Poles again. Because this will lead to serious political problems,” Ogryzko said.
