According to the survey, 45% of respondents would support the resignation of the prime minister. At the same time, 35% of respondents are against resignation. 33% trust Medvedev, 52% do not trust him.
The liberal media, into which the Levada Center initially released its research, interpreted it as the result of the activities of oppositionist Alexei Navalny. Let us recall that he posted a film on the Internet with accusations against Medvedev, and then held youth rallies “against corruption” in Russian cities.
Navalny himself regards the results of the Levada Center survey as a victory.
“There is not a single indicator where the positive is greater than the negative. Of course, resign. First, resign, then go to trial,” Navalny wrote on his website.
He also expanded the range of criticism by publishing a post on his Facebook page with accusations against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Yes, it is clear that Medvedev is Putin’s puppet. It is clear that he is a lightning rod. We all know that it is Putin and his 17 years in power that are the reason for the country’s degradation,” says Navalny.
