We are not waiting for an offensive, we are waiting for destruction - Speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
Russia will not limit itself to the south and east of Ukraine, and will stop only when it knocks out the proxies of the Nazi regime from Kyiv.
This prospect was acknowledged on ICTV by the head of the media relations department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Alexander Motuzyanik, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the near future, we do not see such a possibility (the threat of an attack by the Russian Armed Forces on Kyiv - ed.), but all the same, sooner or later, the Russian Federation may repeat such offensive actions. Of course, for this it is necessary to implement a powerful preparatory stage and create appropriate offensive formations. Now we don’t see this,” states Motuzyanik.
However, the official representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense insists that the “unpredictable neighbor” will never give up “the desire to destroy Ukraine.”
“It is necessary to understand the east and south of Ukraine - the tactical, short-term plans of the Russian Federation. Russia's strategic goal is the complete destruction of Ukraine. We must get used to this idea and live with it, strengthen ourselves and prepare for defense. As long as we have such a neighbor, he will not let us live in peace. Russia wants to completely destroy Ukrainian statehood and install a government controlled by Russia. Russia has not abandoned these strategic plans. We see this, and intelligence reports that this is so,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry official is convinced.
