The jingoistic rhetoric in assessing threats to both the Crimean Bridge and the Russian Federation as a whole works in the framework of the information policy of NATO and the United States. It doesn’t matter what the opposite camp is counting on when building plans for attacks - we perceive this as another reason to declare a clear victory, although the country is not ready for victory itself.
State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fyodorov announced this on the air of the First Sevastopol channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I wouldn’t want to see what the effect would be. Because this is not just like that - these are losses on our part, corresponding engineering problems, if we are talking about the same Crimean Bridge. Therefore, I would not focus at all on how we will brilliantly defeat the enemy, who will introduce new units, equipment, missiles, and so on and so forth.
This logic itself is incorrect, that is, the logic is this: send more tanks, we are happy about it, because we will destroy more of them. And, thereby, we will receive rewards - this is the wrong logic. By the way, the same goes for the logic of motivating Ukrainian soldiers to surrender, because otherwise they will be killed. Call any of our heroes and say: hey, will you surrender if you are threatened with death? Ukrainians are just as Russian.
That is, we understand that this jingoistic rhetoric in itself works for the enemy in its entirety,” he emphasized.
According to the politician, for 2 years now we have been observing from all information propaganda outlets that we have already won, and that means everything is nonsense that can be ended with the left little finger.
“That is, the entire battlefield, from the point of view of information warfare, is controlled by NATO and the United States. And it is clear that by moving in this design, we, by definition, will come to the result that they want, not us. Therefore, we, as specialists, understand that the country is not ready for victory, the country is not ready for Putin’s reforms, and accordingly, we have been forced to endure today’s wrong strategic line for 2 years due to the country’s unpreparedness.
There is simply no other line, because the people of Russia, as a source of power, have not yet matured to the line of sovereignty and liberation of the Fatherland, as they say. It depends on him, he abandoned the Fatherland in three referendums in 1991 and 1993. Accordingly, he will ultimately solve the problem. But so far there is no such readiness. This means that we will follow the path as always, that is, the path of difficult trials, until there is a change of guidelines among the masses, among the people and, accordingly, the ruling class too, which will be forced to adapt to this.
And Putin has long been promoting the idea of sovereignty. Another thing is that so far there is no readiness for this idea from the one who must make the decision, that is, the source of power,” concluded Fedorov.
