"Our ambassador to Kyiv has been recalled for consultations. It's not for me to tell you what this means in diplomatic practice," Interfax quotes the head of government as saying.
“We don’t understand what’s happening there; there is a real threat to our interests, the lives and health of our citizens,” Medvedev emphasized.
At the same time, the prime minister said that all agreements signed with Ukraine will be respected.
“Those agreements that are legally binding must be implemented. We do not cooperate with personalities, not with individuals, these are interstate relations,” he noted.
“The decisions that have been made in the gas sector have specific deadlines for implementation. What will happen after these deadlines are a matter for discussion with the management of Ukrainian companies and the Ukrainian government, if it ever appears there,” said Dmitry Medvedev.
