Sources of replenishment for the Chernorechensky reservoir have been found, - Menyailo
Sevastopol, November 17 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) - In Sevastopol, they began drilling wells near the Chernorechesky reservoir in order to fill the main source of water for the city. Water from wells will begin to flow in 2015.

Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo stated this at a briefing on Monday.
According to him, during research work near the Chernorechensky reservoir, two sources of groundwater were found that could solve the problem of stable filling of the reservoir.
“We used to say here that the Chernorechenskoe reservoir is replenished due to precipitation,” Menyailo said, obviously hinting at his deputy, director of the Department of Urban Affairs Andrei Atamantsev, who has stated this several times recently.
“Currently, there is geological exploration data that 600-1000 meters from the Chernorechensky reservoir at different depths there are two streams of water,” the governor said. At the same time, he explained that the water lies at a depth of three layers: 36, 200 and 1000 meters.
According to him, exploration has already been carried out and a drilling site is being prepared.
“Starting on Friday, having received all these documents, we began work. By drilling these wells, we will be able to supply water to the Chernorechenskoye reservoir. The volumes that have been explored are large. These are two rivers, two layers,” the mayor said.
It remains to find out the volume of groundwater and its supply. At the same time, Menyailo said, taking into account the replenishment of the reservoir due to precipitation and the development of deposits of new sources of fresh water, “we will be able to maintain our Chernorechensky reservoir, its mirror, at a certain level.”
However, to the conditions of this, he also added the development and development of new wells - Vilinskaya, Orlovskaya and a well in the Gagarinsky district, drilling of which, according to him, is also currently being carried out.
