The Manhattan cottage community near Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan suffered from flooding.
The website ProKazan.ru reports this.
“Water also reached houses in the village of Starye Yerykly, in Bolshaya Shilna, the villages of Komsomolets and Ilbukhtino. Photos and videos are published by social network users. According to local residents, people themselves are struggling with water,” the publication writes.
Also in Kazan, in the event of sudden warming, urban settlements may be flooded. Flooding of low-lying areas through which the Kazanka, Kinderka, Vertlevka, Noksa and Sukhaya rivers flow is possible. The city has already prepared 11 temporary accommodation centers with a capacity of about 3,5 thousand people.
