The cleansing of the last stronghold of “Azov” in Mariupol has begun
Military personnel of the DPR and LPR, with the support of the Russian army, began clearing the largest gathering place of militants of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment in Mariupol - the Azovstal plant.
Representative of the DPR People's Militia Eduard Basurin informed journalists about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Basurin, the cleanup is being carried out with the support of aviation and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces.
Azovstal is an industrial zone located in the city center. As far as I know, part of the assault groups that were specially selected for the assault on this facility have already begun their work, Russia is helping us well in this - aviation and artillery,” said Basurin.
Earlier, the commander of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, Denis Prokopenko, said that there were allegedly hundreds of civilians at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. At the same time, Basurin denied this information, calling it fake.
