A member of the Russian delegation was not allowed to attend the UN meeting
The head of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, is the only member of the Russian delegation to the UN General Assembly for whom the United States did not issue a visa.
Slutsky himself announced this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yesterday I was not issued an American visa. There are 5 of us - a national delegation appointed by the President of Russia to the session of the UN General Assembly, led by Sergei Lavrov, who is the most authoritative Minister of Foreign Affairs on the planet. It will not be easy for them, but they will bring our foreign policy line to those who are able and want to hear us. Well, as for me, I have something to do with my colleagues,” said Slutsky.
