This opinion was expressed in an interview with “112” by Verkhovna Rada deputy and Maidan activist Igor Lutsenko.

“The Americans write that the embassy distributed grants incorrectly: some received a lot, while others received nothing. And this led, by the way, I think, to personnel decisions. The ambassador had a very unsuccessful policy, the deputy believes. “He was too friendly with certain politicians: young, “Euro-optimists.” He gave a lot to some, very little to others, and as a result, efficiency was low and corruption arose. American corruption has already come to us here.”
