In Ukraine, the children's channel “Carousel” was banned - officials saw a map of Russia with Crimea in the program for kids
The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine today banned the broadcast in Ukraine of three more channels from the Russian Federation - “Comedy TV”, “Our Football” and “Carousel”.

The National Council’s claims to the children’s TV channel “Carousel” are interesting.
“In the “Weather” section of the program “Good morning, kids!” (published daily at 07:00) recorded the placement of a virtual map of the regions of the Russian Federation, which covers the territory of the annexed Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This contradicts Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine “On Information”, since information cannot be used to call for the overthrow of the constitutional order, violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, propaganda of war, violence, cruelty, inciting interethnic, racial, religious hatred, committing terrorist acts, encroachment on human rights and freedoms,” the press service explained.
Taking into account the identified violations of Ukrainian legislation, the National Council decided to remove these foreign TV channels from the list of those allowed for rebroadcasting.
The children's channel "Karusel" has been banned in Ukraine after officials spotted a map of Russia and Crimea in the children's program.
