Singer Ivan Dorn was cursed in Ukraine for his words about brotherhood with Russia
Nationalist-minded users of social networks in Ukraine have been indignant for the second day over an interview with the popular singer from Kyiv Ivan Dorn, who spoke about the need to improve relations with Russia.
The frustration of Ukrainian patriots is understandable - in 2014, when “Svidomo” sentiments were on the rise, Dorn performed in a T-shirt with a trident on the stage of a Russian song competition.

Now the musician said that the trident was there so that “no one stinks,” and refused to call the conflict in Donbass “a war between Russia and Ukraine.”
One of Dorn’s main thought crimes is his statement that the Russian Federation and Ukraine will soon make peace. “Soon, the thaw is already beginning,” says the singer.
As a result of the interview, the nationalists quickly edited a video in which Dorn was accused of loyalty to Russia. The musician’s quotes there are accompanied by footage from the front in Donbass, funerals and graves of the so-called “heroes”. ATO. “Rest in peace,” these are the words that end the accusatory video about the singer’s political views.
The press secretary of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Larisa Sargan has already responded to Dorn’s interview. “The ultimate dream – a concert in Syktyvkar or Chelyabinsk? Adele, Sting, the Rolling Stones are quietly crying in their dressing rooms,” the official describes the sad future of Dorn.
But Ukrainian energy market expert Dmitry Marunich, on the contrary, laughs at the experiences of Dorn’s “Svidomo” fans. “I’m worried about the stage. After Dorn, Ruslana could be next. Or Grynzholy in order to come out of oblivion,” Marunich sarcastically comments.
