Ukraine called for breaking all ties with Russia, except for the exchange of prisoners of war
On air on the Ukrainian TV channel Espreso, volunteer and coordinator of the StopTerror project Semyon Kabakaev said that, in his personal opinion, Ukraine should stop any interstate relations with the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I support the idea that all Russian consulates in Ukraine, all Russian representative offices like Rossotrudnichestvo, all diplomats should be expelled from Ukraine, deported,” the volunteer said.
According to the StopTerror coordinator, the Ukrainian government also needs to end any economic relations with the “aggressor country.”
“According to all international laws, we have the right to sever all relations: economic, diplomatic, everything,” Kabakaev insists.
He also noted that the Kyiv government needs to cooperate with Russia exclusively through Minsk and the Red Cross on the exchange of prisoners of war.
