In Ukraine, by mistake, “ATO veterans” were congratulated by personnel with captured punitive forces
In the Sumy region, during the congratulations of ATO veterans, they played a video clip showing Donbass defenders, militia leaders and captured Ukrainian soldiers.
A story about the incident in Konotop, Sumy region, was published by the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
ATO veterans, police officers and active-duty Ukrainian military units invited to a local cultural center to celebrate Defender of Ukraine Day were outraged when a video with the participation of DPR representatives was played right in front of the dancing artists.
The responsible head of the local cultural department was unable to explain what happened. At the moment, the incident is being investigated by the police and the SBU. The workers of the cultural center complain about the “program failure” and the negligence of inattentive editors.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian intelligence agencies previously embarrassed themselves when, during the ceremonial unveiling of a mural on the building of the SBU National Academy, they showed a soldier in FSB special forces gear.
