Igar Tyshkevich, an expert in the international and domestic policy program at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

At the same time, it is worth paying attention to the specifics of the Russian population, the specifics of Russian society, because if any other state must provide a certain level of income, a certain comfort for its citizens, then for the average Russian, for the majority of voters, it is enough for the state to do what is called the generation of pride: “they fear us, which means they respect us,” “we can,” “we can repeat,” etc.
Accordingly, the state can reduce social programs and maintain a certain level of conflicts around itself,” the Ukrainian expert concluded.
