Open commemoration of Hitler's troops began in Ukraine
The extremist organization Right Sector, banned in Russia, has begun openly honoring Hitler’s troops.
Today, the official “PS” group on Facebook published a message glorifying the SS division “Galicia” as fighters for the independence of Ukraine.

It should be clarified that in past years, attempts have been made repeatedly to glorify “Galicia,” formed by the Nazis from the inhabitants of what is now Western Ukraine.
However, unlike the Right Sectors, Ukrainian politicians previously preferred to exclude the mention of its affiliation with the SS from the name of the division.
For example, in 2009, the Novy Den news agency reported on the appearance of city lights bearing the division's insignia in Lviv. Interestingly, the authorities at the time attempted to distance themselves from the controversial advertising.
