This was stated in a message from the press service of the Kyiv design bureau "Luch" on Facebook.
“Another successful stage of testing the Vilkha missile system. The complex is superior in terms of performance characteristics to the Tochka-U missile system (maximum engagement range 120 km). All components for the production of Alder are domestic, including a new control system, new rocket fuel and a new warhead,” the statement says.
As noted, the peculiarity of the rocket control system is that it provides for correction of the rocket’s flight using pulse engines.
“The missile is capable of carrying various warheads depending on its purpose,” the report says.
Earlier, the same design bureau “Luch” reported that the combat modules “Shkval” and “Stiletto” passed comparative factory tests at one of the military training grounds in the Zhitomir region. The combat modules are designed to arm a modernized infantry fighting vehicle designed by the Zhytomyr Armored Plant State Enterprise, which is part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern.
