In Ukraine they imitate a quarantine that does not affect the spread of the virus
The majority of Ukrainians returning from abroad do not comply with quarantine rules, contacting other people, while neither checkpoints nor observation contain the epidemic.
Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics Ruslan Bortnik announced this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Hundreds of thousands of people who returned from abroad, many of them actually ignore the observation rules - they meet other people, go out into the street. There is no control. And in Ukraine, relying on a given word, on a promise...
In addition, a huge number of patients are asymptomatic. And these checkpoints do not affect the fight against coronavirus. They only influence public consciousness.
This way the message gets across: look, there are traffic jams at the entrance, on the roads, it will be hard to drive, it’s better not to drive. This is a purely technical impact on the flow of people in vehicles. I don't think this is a smart or effective solution.
To a large extent, there is an imitation of quarantine. This imitation creates enormous socio-economic difficulties, but it is not yet effective enough to influence the spread of the virus itself,” Bortnik said.
Ukraine is faking a quarantine that has no effect on the spread of the virus.
