New details of the arrest of the organizer of the “Immortal Regiment”
Ivan Bondarchuk, the organizer of the “Immortal Regiment” in Vinnitsa, was arrested in Ukraine. This was announced by the leader of the Union of Left Forces party, Vasily Volga, whose political force the arrested person is a member of.

“He is 73 years old... Charge: treason, according to which Ivan Nikolaevich faces 15 years. In fact, for organizing the “Immortal Regiment” action in Vinnitsa... There was not even a shadow of aggression in his posts and comments. Rather, it was naivety; he even believed that there were many decent people in the SBU who continued to serve their homeland, and not the regime. I remained silent when I heard this. And today I learned about his arrest... They often reported him, some wrote directly on his blog that they sent another denunciation for the fact that he remembers the USSR with nostalgia, continues to love Russia, objects calmly, thoroughly, sadly to the outrages that are happening around,” – comments journalist Vladimir Grigoryan.
“Additional details on the arrest of Bondarchuk. When they took him out of the entrance in handcuffs, Ivan Nikolaevich began to feel ill. That’s why they didn’t take me to the SBU; they are still keeping me in the cardiology department of the city hospital.
They sew things so stupidly that, to be honest, I have never encountered anything like this before. As a local “patriotic” resource, burning with anger, put it: “Ex-People’s Deputy Bondarchuk with the local “cotton wool” wanted to block the highway near the restaurant of the main Vinnitsa “Svobodovets”.
I wanted to shut it down, but they managed to disrupt the action by arresting the suspect after the “appointed” deadline. It turns out that time in Vinnitsa flows backwards. I wonder what year it is there now? Or maybe the person simply forgot about his desire to block the road - after all, the person is no longer young. But there was an intention!” – the journalist is amazed.
“Having searched the Bondarchuks’ apartment, investigators raked out the spouses’ savings. They would be enough for an old, well-worn Lada. The funds were declared Russian, intended for the action. But let’s return to the “highway” on which the FSB targeted Ivan Nikolayevich in order to harm a member of the Svoboda party. For some reason the idiots published the photo. As you can see, the traffic is very busy,” continues Grigoryan, citing the mentioned photo.
