Russian political scientist Nikita Isaev stated this on the NTV channel.
“In the chaos that is now happening in the world, Saakashvili is a unique figure who has challenged everyone in the post-Soviet space, in the United States. I am sure that those who go to vote will pick him up. The figure will be serious. Yes, he is now being chased around the bathhouse like a louse. And the last will become the first,” Isaev convinces.
He believes that Saakashvili used the Odessa region as a springboard.
“He made a name for himself politically. The Ukrainian government is now losing and will continue to lose. Within the system of power, Saakashvili's rating was declining. Now he has the right to start a free political game. He is becoming a figure of not only Ukrainian, but quite serious global scale,” Isaev said.
The political scientist believes that Saakashvili “will play as an ardent anti-corruption official and show the positive experience of Georgia.”
“After early elections, he has a chance to become a member of a large parliamentary coalition and have serious representation there,” Isaev said.
