New clashes with police began at Mikhomaidan
Impressive forces of the National Guard and police in full equipment surrounded the participants in the tent camp near the Verkhovna Rada, lining up in several rows.

Deputy Semyon Semenchenko, who came out to the fence of the tent city from the side of the Kiev Hotel, first said that the security forces were not planning an assault, but had simply strengthened the cordon, based on information about a rally planned for 18:00, during which, as the authorities fear, a procession could take place to the administration of Petro Poroshenko.
Semenchenko said that a similar strengthening of the cordon occurred directly on the approaches to the AP.
However, suddenly shouts were heard from the Cabinet of Ministers - a clash between the Maidan workers and the police began there. Tear gas was sprayed into the air.
Semenchenko, who came running to this edge of the camp, reported that the police detained seven Maidan workers, some of whom were snatched straight from their tents.
Using a megaphone, Semenchenko, as well as ordinary Maidan activists, began to reproach the police for acting to please the thieving President Poroshenko against yesterday’s brothers-in-arms on the Maidan.
The most aggressive militants began to dismantle the paving stones. Hysterical women's screams were heard in the crowd that the police were planning to storm the camp.
Other Maidan activists began to dissuade people from using paving stones so as not to provoke the militants. As a result, the Maidan workers stopped digging up the sidewalk for a while.
