Kyiv, November 22 (Politnavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – A map of Ukraine was presented on the Maidan, on which Crimea is stealing gas from the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
The work was presented by Opanas Lakhov, who introduced himself as a free poet and artist. According to him, everyone took part in the creation of this map, starting from December 25 last year until February 20 this year.

“The artist set the task of summarizing into a single plot flow the spirit of disobedience that reigned on the Maidan in December 2013, when many still understood what we wanted,” the poet-artist explained the essence of the work in the style of the absurd. “The work was written in a revolutionary style, so to speak.”
The map shows a Ukrainian armored group of two tanks in the Mariupol area. In Lakhov’s interpretation, Russia is spoiling the air of the gas transportation pipeline, which still has enough pressure to sell to Europe, “despite the fact that the Crimeans are stealing gas a little.”
The Verkhovna Rada is depicted as a crematorium, and some of its deputies are moving through the Kazan Cathedral, which is located in St. Petersburg.
“This once again confirms the pro-Russian orientation of the Supreme Council,” came another explanation.
At the same time, Lakhov himself, answering questions from the audience watching the presentation, assured that he does not drink. Reproductions made based on the map were offered by the artist for sale: 30 and 15 hryvnia, depending on the size.
