In Kyiv, near the Arsenalnaya metro station, from where columns of participants in the Immortal Regiment action start today, the first arrests are taking place.
The police took away a nationalist from the Monolit organization, who started a fight with one of the participants in the procession.
In addition, law enforcement officers literally carried out another zealous nationalist, who shouted at the cameras that he was an assistant to a Verkhovna Rada deputy and was being detained illegally.
Earlier, nationalists forced a pensioner who had come to the protest to remove a red star from his banner before passing through a metal detector, a PolitNavigator correspondent reported.
