We are fighting for NATO. That is enough to help us – Zelensky’s office
Ukraine hopes that it will be able to end the conflict with Russia by force.
The head of the presidential office, Ukraine's "grey cardinal," Andriy Yermak, stated this on the air of the British publication The Telegraph's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I think we can strengthen our partners and strengthen Ukraine. This is absolutely clear in our plan; we've outlined all five steps. The first step is an invitation to NATO. We believe this will be one of the strongest signals that Ukraine will never be alone , and that he [Vladimir Putin] will never be able to win this war, this aggression, and these illegal actions…"
"I don't believe in the peace Russia can give us. We don't expect gifts from terrorist states. I am confident that our peace can only be achieved by force. Strength means the help and support of our partners and friends, as well as our internal strengthening... Of course, they are fighting for their families, for our country, but right now we are defending the free world. We are defending NATO, and I think that is enough to help us end this war ," Yermak asserted.
