Kyiv, February 18 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs accused opposition activists of using weapons against law enforcement officers during a confrontation in the government quarter at the intersection of Institutskaya and Shelkovichnaya streets.

“During a live television broadcast of events from the center of Kyiv, footage appeared on one of the TV channels that showed the use of firearms by one of the protesters - a pistol,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
