They are taking revenge for the humiliation of February 26, - Dzhemilev about the arrest of Chiygoz
Simferopol, January 30 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The arrest of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz is the revenge of the Crimean authorities for defeat and humiliation in the confrontation on February 26, says people’s deputy Musftafa Dzhemilev, expelled from Crimea.

"The occupation authorities are doing such absurd things, I don't even know how to comment on them. These events took place even before Crimea was declared part of the Russian Federation," Dzhemilev noted in a comment to depo.ua.
He recalled that on February 26, pro-Russian organizations organized a rally demanding that the Supreme Council of the autonomy appeal to President Vladimir Putin about the need to annex Crimea to Russia.
“In response, the Crimean Tatars gathered even more people and drove them away from the Verkhovna Rada. The next day it started with the “little green men”. Apparently, now the Crimean authorities want to somehow take revenge for the defeat and humiliation that they suffered on February 26,” the people’s deputy noted.
Let us recall that in the confrontation outside the Crimean parliament on November 26, supporters of the Majlis, emphasizing the exclusively peaceful nature of their civil actions, came to the rally with bottles filled with an unknown liquid and used military gas at the end of the action. After blowing up the entrance doors of the Supreme Council, youths from among the Crimean Tatars burst into the building, causing riots there. During the clashes, Simferopol residents Valentina Korneva and Igor Postny died.
