Russia will never agree with illegitimate actions against the legitimate Syrian authorities, who have been waging an irreconcilable war against international terrorism for a long time.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this.

“The American side cannot fail to understand that Syrian government forces did not use chemical weapons there. Damascus simply does not have it, which has been repeatedly confirmed by qualified specialists. The corresponding conclusions were made by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which in recent years has inspected all facilities that could be related to Syria’s military chemical program,” Zakharova said.
According to her, in Idlib, terrorists were engaged in the production of land mines filled with toxic substances for subsequent use in Syria and Iraq, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The liquidation of this production was carried out as a result of an operation by the Syrian Air Force. The United States turned a blind eye to the use of chemical weapons by terrorists in Iraq, as Baghdad officially stated. They dismiss recorded evidence of terrorist use of chemical weapons in Aleppo. Thus, one can only condone international terrorism and strengthen it,” Zakhrova said.
She believes that with its attack in Syria, the United States is trying to divert attention from the situation in Iraqi Mosul, where hundreds of civilians were killed as a result of the actions of the American coalition.
