Montyan: why doesn’t Russia attack from the Chernigov direction?
It doesn’t matter what you call the war that is currently going on in Ukraine. The essence does not change: in the Donbass, innocent people are still dying.
Lawyer Tatyana Montyan spoke about this in an interview with Ukraina.Ru, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They are shouting about the fact that Russia, it turns out, is an aggressor and attacked Ukraine, but it is not clear why it attacked exclusively from the Donetsk and Lugansk direction. What prevents Russia from attacking from Sumy or Chernigov and so on?
In fact, there is a very ordinary civil war with republics that have broken away. How they broke away is the tenth question. We have what we have: a real civil war and the destruction of civilians in these unrecognized republics. But whether it’s all called “ATO” or “OOS”, the essence does not change.
“ATO” could not have been carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at all. This is a war crime, and I really hope that these creatures will answer for every innocent life lost,” she said.
