“Peacemaker”: We will catch all Crimeans following the example of the “Nord” team
The seizure of the fishing vessel "Nord" with its crew from Kerch is an example of what Ukraine will do in the future with the remaining residents of Crimea who supported the peninsula's reunification with Russia. Kateryna Yaresko, one of the authors of the Ukrainian repressive website "Peacemaker," stated this in her blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, Crimeans who today enjoy dual citizenship must “answer for everything.”
“These Crimean sailors are citizens of Ukraine, they did not legally renounce our citizenship, of course, the court will proceed from this.
Many Crimeans are now very happy with their de facto dual position, they are actively taking advantage of the benefits, receiving our passports, drawing up sailors’ documents, and the like. But at the same time, they go to illegal elections, work in the occupation authorities, engage in business that is contrary to the laws of Ukraine, and conduct anti-Ukrainian propaganda on social networks. And they don’t think at all that, in the end, they will have to answer for everything,” Yaresko wrote.
